No amount of logic can keep you from having ridiculous ideas if you start with ridiculous premises. The real truth of things is a matter of direct observation, unencumbered by our conditioned prejudices. In this regard, what has been said of the 'tao' could also be appled to the 'truth' when it comes to our essential nature:
He who knows does not speak.
He who speaks does not know.

He who speaks does not know.
~Lao-tzu
Meaning, that when we speak, we use language, which by default, imposes false assumptions upon what is actually a subtle process of discovery.
